The October Luncheon will feature
Attorneys Walt Britt and Lyle K. Porter
as they discuss their representation of Rebecca Jean Lewis and her children in a wrongful death, Georgia RICO, and fraudulent transfers action against the killer of their husband and father, Douglas Wayne Lewis, and one of the killer's daughters.
They were able to obtain a judgment that forfeited under RICO all his assets that he received in the divorce proceedings, including but not limited to, his house, all personal property, rental property, vehicles, bank accounts, and his pension from the State of Illinois. Additionally, a fraudulent transfer of his residence to his daughter was set aside, and permanent injunction were granted against both Defendants in order to prevent any future transfers to carry out his deadly scheme. Finally, they obtained a judgment for $40,000,000.00 for all damages sustained by the Lewis family. ____________________________________
